У Serv-U на сколько я помню где-то есть галочка "Разрешить анонимный вход" (только по английски :) ).
80 - это нормальная скорость. На АДСЛ быстрее 110 отдавать не возможно в силу его спецификации. Но 110 - это почти идеал. А какая сейчас погода, какая у тебя линия... В общем 80 - это отлично. Я когда ставил ftp делал ограничение 64 или даже 48, чтобы часть канала оставалась мне и соседям, а не забивалась качающими.
А как тогда все с файлзов и гамезов качают?
Файлс и гамес (а также баттл) подключены не через АДСЛ-соединение, а в "стойку" онеги.

А мона по подробнее? я долго рылся и не нашел.
Немного разьясню по поводу скорости скачивания.Так как фтп стоит на твоем компе => скорость скачивания равна скорости исходящего трафика(т.е. ~ 100 кб).Хотя есть способ повысить ее, переходи на адсл2+:) .С ней(если память не изменяет) скорость исходящего канала повысится до 150:wacko: :D .Зато входящего до 2,4 мб:) .

N0rd, нет, с 2+ скорость исходящая почти не повышается.
Несколько цитат с разных источников :

N0rd, только это все не применимо на Онеге. Здесь я один из лучших источников, т.к. сижу на 2+. ;)

MDM спасибо. Эх ток обидно что скорость будет не больше чем в п2п :( Тогда и смысл фтп сервака пропадает.
А че прикольнее всего-я сам с себя качаю под 4.5мб\сек :)
ЕЩе вопрос техническогохарактера: если у нас такая система с инетом: на 6 вроде стоит 1 модем и к нему от 5 человек в т.ч и меня идет сетевой кабель. Дык мне реально перейти на адсл 2?
Кароче решил все вопросы в одной теме задать :)

Options директива
Синтаксис: Options [+|-]option [+|-]option ...
Контекст: конфигурация сервера, virtual host, directory, .htaccess
Отмена: Options
Состояние: основное
Директива Options опредиляет, какие особенности сервера являются доступными в данном каталоге.
option может быть установлена в None, когда ни одна из опций не допускается и возможно одно или несколько следующих полей:
All - все опции кроме MultiViews.
ExecCGI - разрешается выполнение сценариев CGI.
FollowSymLinks - сервер будет следовать за символическими связями в этом каталоге.
Includes - Server-site includes(SSI), разрешаются.
IncludesNOEXEC - Server-site includes(SSI), разрешается, но команда #exec и #include CGI-скриптов заблокированны.
Indexes - если запрошенный URL соответствует каталогу, и в этом катлоге нет ничего соответствующего DirectoryIndex (например Index.html), то сервер возвратит форматированную распечатку содерщания каталога.
MultiViews - Content negotiated MultiViews допускаются.
SymLinksIfOwnerMatch - сервер будет следовать только тем символическим связям, для которых целевой файл или каталог имеют тот же идентификатор пользователя что и связь.
Обычно, если несколько опций директивы Options применяются к каталогу, а затем наиболее специфический применяются к его подкаталогу, то опции не обьединяются. Однако, если любой опции в директиве Options предшествует символ "+" или "-", то опции обьединяются. Любые опции, которым предшествует "+" будут добавлены к опциям включенным в настоящее время, и любые опции, которым предшествует "-" будут удалены из включенных опций.
Например, без любого + и - символа:

Самостоятельно на онеге такого проделать нельзя (раньше было?). Нужно писать на webmaster@onego.ru с просьбой сделать на домашке Options +Indexes

Frosty, мыло надежнее и быстрее, т.к. писать нужно с мыла связаного с домашкой и тогда ни каких больше проверок что это именно твоя страничка не потребуется. На форуме нужно будет еще подтвердить свою личность.

Пользователю anonymous добавь Home Directory:

Вопрос. Где в программе вставить рег. код? Все. Нашел.
Но по хелпу (в этой теме) http://battlefox.ru/~mdm/serv-u/ никак не удается увидеть папки. Поможите хто чем может.
PS. Мне нужно уствновить на локальный комп.

Поставил, папки увидел.
Новая проблема.
Через тотал командер зайти могу, а через браузер типа ftp://.......
незаходит....

* Added a tray option to use the system browser instead of the embedded Internet Explorer. Using the system browser can be faster, depending on the browser, and can reduce the amount of RAM used by the tray application.
* Improved accuracy of "XX KB", "XX MB", and "XX GB" displays to round up to the next highest value instead of checking for any amount over the unit (as older versions of Windows did). (Tray Application and FTP Voyager JV)
* Added support for saving the tray's Management Console Window coordinates over multiple monitors
FTP Voyager JV:
* Added the "Synchronize Folders" feature which allows for easy folder comparison for mirroring either a local or remote folder.
* Added the ability to search for files and folders within FTP Voyager JV.
* Added the ability to create an automatic login file for FTP Voyager JV.
* Added the number of items, number of selected items, and current directory to the status bar of FTP Voyager JV.
* Changed FTP Voyager JV's default value of "Remove files from Transfer Pane after completion" to "false".

* Changed the FTP Voyager JV File Properties dialog to show the "Date Created" and the "Date Last-Accessed" fields when launched from a selected remote file.

* Corrected an attribute availability bug when specifying the start time "after" the end time, Serv-U would not properly handle this condition.
* Corrected a security bug where Serv-U was showing all drives and virtual paths to drives for "\" when a user may not have had permission to list all drives or virtual paths to drives.
* Corrected a directory listing / change directory bug where Serv-U was not allowing access to a parent directory, in some cases, if permissions for the parent directory were not explicitly set.
* Corrected a bug in the MFF FTP command where Serv-U was not ignoring the space between the "fact" and the "path name", causing MFF to fail with an incorrect path response.
* Corrected a bug where the UNIX directory mask would not work correctly if "r" (read) and "w" characters were not being used in the same locations as the default. This was changed to remain consistant with Serv-U version <= 6.4.
Management Console:
* Corrected a bug where the user was unable to close a combo box when clicking on the combo box drop down arrow.
* Corrected a bug in the Domain Wizard dialog where the pages where not all the same height.
* Corrected a bug where the User & Groups Statistics would hang when changing the Collection.
* Corrected a bug where the domain log would not properly clear out the log contents after resetting the filtering.
* Corrected a bug where the RhinoSoft.com logo located in the footer had an incorrect background.
* Corrected a bug where "Transfer Ratios" were not being saved correctly causing the wrong information to appear in the dialog.
* Corrected a bug where the UNIX directory mask could not be saved.
Web Client:
* Corrected a Web Client upload bug, where uploading a small file, locally or on a very fast connection, the Web Client could think the file did not upload, even when it did. This problem occurred mostly in Firefox browsers.
