AMD Catalyst Drivers - это новейший пакет официальной версии драйверов Catalyst, предназначен для видеокарт серии Radeon HD, начиная с 2000, а также встроенных решений.

Ввиду прекращения помощи товаров прошлых линеек 9200/9250 и ниже придется удовлетворяться ветхой версией под номером 6.5 (либо 6.11 для карт на чипах R300 и ниже), а для видеокарт Radeon серии X/9500/9600/9600 и иных подойдет мартовская v.9.3 или 10.2 Legacy (смотрите архив)

Главные способности AMD Catalyst Drivers:
- Дозволяет прыткое назначение особых горячих кнопок.
- Возможность конфигурации до 9 различных виртуальных декстопов.
- Сортировка и управление обилием прибавлений средством определенного юзером рабочего стола.
- Сохранения опций для каждого рабочего стола — позиция прибавления, ассоциации, опции отображения.
- Конфигурация режима Multi-monitor.

Установка:
1. Удалить все прошлые программы и драйвера ATI/AMD Catalyst™.
2. Установить драйвер монитора и Catalyst Control Center.

Для того, чтобы запустить центр управления драйверов Catalyst Control Center, необходимо установить Microsoft .NET Framework (в Windows Vista и Windows 7 входит по умолчанию).

В качестве альтернативы пакету Catalyst Control Center может выступать комбинация из отдельного драйвера и утилиты ATI Tray Tools с полной поддержкой новых видеокарт.

OpenGL ES 2.0 support

* ATI Catalyst™ 10.8 delivers full support for OpenGL ES 2.0 specification

Video Quality default options

* The Default video options for ATI Catalyst™ have been greatly enhanced to deliver the best quality video viewing experience. Users can also choose to apply these settings to Internet Video via a new checkbox control within the ATI Catalyst™ Control Center
* In the “Advanced Color” section, the following defaults are now enabled:
-Color vibrance (default = 40)
-Flesh tone correction (default = 50)
-Brighter Whites
* In the “Advanced Quality” section, the following defaults are now enabled:
-Edge-enhancement (default = 25)
-De-noise (default = 64)
-Mosquito Noise Reduction (default = 50)

Note: Video Quality option settings can be accessed by launching the

* Opening numerous windows in Adobe Photoshop CS5 no longer causes application to fail

* Shifting mouse cursor between displays no longer causes intermittent cursor corruption or system lock up

Resolved Issues for the Windows Vista Operating System

transcoding specific video files on 64-bit operating systems
* AVI video no longer lags during playback within Microsoft PowerPoint slide deck

* Desktop may dim after exiting "Mafia II" game on some cards
* Flickering may be visible while running 3D games on HDMI displays with Quad

* PowerDVD may exhibit blue and pink tint and might not display smooth transition when adjusting brightness and contrast in Catalyst™ Control Center when viewing Blu-ray content

-Windows Media Center application may stop responding or system may intermittently fail while playing 1080p video in 2x2 & 4X1 Eyefinity mode
-Desktop line corruption may be observed after hotplugging the HDCP display on some cards

Не могу понять, почему не устанавливается последняя версия драйверов (10.9). Control Center тоже, кстати, не ставится. Установка проходит корректно, перезагрузка не запрашивается, но и после ребута в диспетчере устройств драйверов числится стандартный от Windows 7. Видеокарта - Radeon x1650.

Вручную драйвера также не обновляются.

Уважаемые форумчане, в какую сторону копать?

Понял, в чём дело: вопреки описанию драйверов версии 10.9, в них нет поддержки видеокарт классом ниже HD. Установил Legacy 10.2.

Интересно вот только, если дрова посвежее, чем 10.2, с поддержкой Radeon x1650? Опытным путём, ставя всё подряд, выяснять как-то не очень хочется...

Новее 10.2 ничего официального нет, да и смысл то какой, ведь от этого видеокарта новей не станет... Найдите самые стабильные для себя из имеющихся.

Возможно глупый вопрос сейчас задам, но просто отошел от железных и софтовых дел и теперь ничего не знаю. А что есть драйвер OpenCL? для чего он?

DeaD, OpenCL (Open Computing Language) в переводе открытый язык вычислений - это фреймворк для написания компьютерных программ, связанных с параллельными вычислениями на различных графических и центральных процессорах, драйвера соответственно нужны для поддержки приложений написанных на этом языке...

Всем привет и с наступившими праздниками!!! Может кто подскажет какие из последних драйверов подойдут на Х1950 про, виндовс 7-32, а то нашел только февральские 2010 г. и те почему-то не ставятся. Заранее спасибо.
