FeedDemon - финальная версия одной из лучших и самых популярных программ для чтения RSS-новостей. FeedDemon, облегчающая поиск и чтение заголовков в формате RSS в сети без необходимости личного посещения сайтов с материалами.

Установив программу FeedDemon и подписавшись на RSS ленту, программа сама будет следить за обновлением и при появлении новостей будет оповещать вас. Очень удобно то, что при выборе категории можно просмотреть все заголовки новостей, которые получены с относящихся к ней ресурсов.

Есть три режима просмотра новостей: заголовки (название новости), заголовки плюс первый абзац (название новости + краткое описание) и новости полностью. При щелчке по заголовку новости она откроется во встроенном браузере или же в том, который используется в системе по умолчанию.

Особенность FeedDemon в том, что она тесто интегрирована с онлайн-сервисом для чтения новостей NewsGator. Устанавливая FeedDemon, можно указать свой аккаунт в NewsGator или же создать новый. Благодаря этому все действия, которые выполняются в FeedDemon, будут синхронизированы с NewsGator. Таким образом, зайдя на сайт NewsGator, вы сможете получить свежие новости с любимых ресурсов даже в том случае, если находитесь в интернет-кафе на краю Земли.

В последних версиях представлены следующие нововведения:
* Возможность передавать друзьям набор RSS-ссылок из FeedDemon;
* Появилась возможность предварительно загружать ссылки и картинки для всех непрочитанных сообщений;
* Полностью переписана функция "Популярные темы" – теперь можно просматривать наиболее популярные новости со всех каналов;

Обновление до 2.7.0.0 Final

Завершилось тестирование следующей версии известного новостного клиента FeedDemon под номером 2.7.

Этот релиз представляет множество различных нововведений. Так ускорена система навигации по новостным элементам, а также диалогам программы, появилась возможность одновременной подписки на несколько лент, обновленная система поиска, а также средства для синхронизации. Как всегда исправлено огромное количество ошибок и сделано несколько изменений. Более подробно расписано в официальных заметках к релизу, которые доступны в каталоге с установленной программой.

Вышла новая версия FeedDemon — одна из самых популярных программ для получения новостей с сайтов по технологии RSS и XML.

Этот релиз представляет множество различных нововведений и исправлений. Добавлена поддержка для синхронизации с Google Reader, обновлен пользовательский интерфейс, а также стартовая страница. Добавлены теги для новостных лент, упрощена система общего доступа к новостям, а также улучшена работа с Twitter. Начиная с этого выпуска, программа в бесплатном варианте отображает рекламные баннеры в левом нижнем углу основного окна.

Обновление до 4.0.0.20 Final

Завершилось долгосрочное тестирование новой версии известного новостного клиента FeedDemon. В этом релизе повышена производительность за счет использования новой базы данных SQlite, обновлен пользовательский интерфейс, улучшен дизайн газеты, оптимизирован процесс синхронизации данных, а также исправлено множество различных недоработок.

Кстати с этим выпуском автор повторно перевел статус программы с бесплатного в платный. Отличия этих версий можно узнать по этому адресу.
